HIP HOME INFORMATION PACKS
As from the 1 August 2007 Home Information Packs (HIP) were phased in, starting with 4 or more bedroomed properties, eventually most properties will be included.
A HIP will have required items in it, these include:
-
An index
-
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
-
Statement of sale
-
Evidence of title
-
Commonhold and leasehold details
-
Local land and drainage search.
Don’t worry we can do it all for you, and for FREE in-house should we buy your home.
How does it work?
When we visit your home we carry out our inspection to buy you house and then make you a cash offer. If the offer is accepted we will then carry out an Energy Assessment to produce an (EPC) carried out by the Domestic Energy Assessor of our sister company Allied Properties (Hull) Limited, this will save you time and inconvenience. It will be done professionally, objectively, accurately and impartially free of commercial gain.
Because we have already made you a cash offer, the results of the (EPC) do not affect or influence the cash offer made to you.
If you wish to commission an (EPC) independently or already have one that is up to date we would be happy accept that (EPC).
(We may buy in either Marina Properties or Allied Properties name)
